"Sweet and tidy, airy lil bistro coffee place with seasonal specialty items like their autumn flight of spiced iced coffees, a hot bourbon carmel flavored latte and so on. Breakfast goodies include scones, bagels, English muffin sandwiches and whatnot. Good spot to catch up with friends, read the paper or just stare at life going by outside or inside the big plate glass windows. And amooth coffee too."

"Had hot cocoa with a friend. The hot chocolate was very watery. Tasted more like cocoa flavored water than actual hot cocoa. I've had a lot of different hot chocolates in my life and this among the worst. I was very disappointed. And the order took forever and they accidentally gave part of our order to someone else. So then we had to wait even longer. Then they gave us the order, but missing another part, so my friend had to go advocate for getting her scone... But. The staff seemed to be trying and were friendly. That amounts to something, I guess. And I thought the tables/chairs were cute... But I'd never go there again. Nor recommend it to anyone else. Ever."

"Nice staff and great atmosphere. Most expensive scone I have had in a while and the scone and the coffee were pretty mediocre. It would be forgivable it is wasn't $29 for two lattes and two scones. Scones had good ingredients, but they were dry as sand and the coffee was better but nothing to write about. Probably not going back but it is a nice place to sit and have a morning coffee."

"None of my family members (and I have dozens) frequent coffee shops or downtown CDA so we’d never been but my Aunt, who was visiting from CA for the first time and was so impressed by CDA had to be the one to experience Evans Bros. She wanted to treat us to coffee so her and another aunt went there. She complimented the “employee of the month” for his award and both aunts were taken aback by his cold response. Then, they returned with the coffee and realized one iced coffee was missing the cream and the coffee was so bitter not even the black drinkers would drink it or the ones they received. Us froo-drop blended drinkers had to make do with iced mochas because they didn’t have a blender?!? First time for everything I guess. At least the three of us were able to drink it because of the cream and flavor but not one of the 8-10 family members were happy with their order. I think we will send any guests to the vault instead, as they are always consistently good."
