"Venus découvrir Concarneau pour le 15 août, grand suspens quant à la réservation d'un restaurant pour diner.. Suivant les recommandations de Trip Advisor, nous tentons une approche au culot : sans réservation. Approche à laquelle les serveurs ont répondu en nous proposant une table fraichement libérée.Personnel très disponible et agréable, les pizzas sont très bonnes, composées d'une pâte fine et d'ingrédients gouteux. Elles sont cependant très, très copieuses ! Si bien que nous n'avons pas fini nos pizzas, et pas pris de dessert ! Le limoncello est offert systématiquement, et la maison propose de remporter la pizza non terminée. De chouettes attentions pour une adresse "Pizza" à ne pas rater à Concarneau !"

"Plutot bel emplacement vue sur le port sympa. Les crêpes sont bonnes, rien d'exceptionnel et carte ultra simple. Mais bonnes. Et les prix défis toute concurrence ! Idéal pour ce faire un p'tit resto le soir du marché nocturne en été. 2 adultes 1 enfant de 5 ans, chacun une crêpe salée, un dessert, 2 verres de rosé = 33€ qui dit mieux ?"

"As this place was on a direct line between where we were staying and the beach, it wasn't too hard to notice it and realise that it always seemed to be buzzing with customers. The menu looked long and I don't always take this as a good sign in a restaurant, but in fact it was quite cleverly constructed to offer a wide choice without overburdening the kitchen's resources. We turned up on a Sunday evening, having booked a couple of hours earlier, but despite the fact that the place was heaving, we didn't see anyone turned away during the course of the evening. Service was friendly but very professional, and as always it's a joy to watch a few staff handling a lot of covers (I didn't count them) so efficiently a rare site in the UK. We started with a shared platter of smoked fish, so nothing too demanding for the kitchen there. I'm still to be convinced that prawns actually benefit from being smoked, but all the other fish on the platter was delicious. As we hadn't had any this holiday, we both opted for moules frites (one mariniere, one a la creme) boring, I know, but we didn't regret it. They were deliciously fresh and cooked exactly right. The only problem we had was with the QUANTITY! If served moules at the same price in England, I'd expect to get about one third of the amount. Clare heroically nearly made it to the end of her mariniere, but with the handicap of the rich sauce I only got about two thirds of the way through. After that, dessert was a no no, which was a pity as they looked pretty spectacular. The restaurant definitely benefits from its site, overlooking a sandy cove and across the estuary mouth, but it's pleasing to find that they don't simply use this to get away with mediocrity, as so many places might."
