"This has always been a holiday favourite but it felt extra special this time, so much so we visited several times for Sunday roast and quiz, a drink and takeaway and then a few drinks and a late lunch. Service was great every time, very friendly and helpful, and the pub generally was brilliant with a local but friendly vibe. We've been here many times in the past and it's always been good but this year it felt a cut above."

"I ended up here after the Cornish Pantry were not serving Breakfast and the cafe was closed!. What is wrong with these places?. WELL NOTHING WRONG HERE. I was not a guest but after a 5 hour drive they let me eat here and have their buffet breakfast. Don 't even remember what it cost but worth every penny. Good quality ingredients and all well cooked. But anyone knows that you judge a breakfast on its scrambled egg. So many places give you this block of yellowy goo but not here. My compliments to the chef. There was pride in this because it had been done properly. I also have to mention the lovely young lady who let me eat here and to top it off after my long journey she called me MY LOVELY . You made my day."

"Vegan cheese for pizzas, but not much more on the menu. the meth veg ciabatta had taken back from the menu a dae. pizza was in order, but we wish we stayed on the beach for pasties at a more reasonable price!"

"The food was ok, but the owner was very friendly and helped us with good food also helped with local information. Cost wise its normal and very big place, separate playing area for kids and adults.Well maintain, if you want to spend some quality time with friends after Minack Theatre visit."

"Only 4 vegetarian options on another great menu, but they are good options, two of them are especially vegan and the burger can be made vegan. Usually, if something “vegan option” it means that they only take out the milk ingredients, but in this case the grilled halloumi and BBQ pulled aubergine burger can with vegan halloumi it was delicious! They also have a real vegan dessert that is neither fruit salad or sorbet (dark chocolate cake with berries). All in all, we had a great meal and were well supervised by the beautiful staff."
