"We had dinner at Ciao on the last night of the Newport Holiday Boat Parade, so it was extremely busy! We knew we would have to wait, but it was for the amount of time they indicated when we checked in. The atmosphere was wonderful. It's small and cozy and very inviting. The restaurant was full and boisterous, not sure it's always this way, but it was great. We ordered the bruschetta and fried mozzarella as appetizers. Both were made on site and very good. At the table were ordered Pesto Cream Gnocchi, Chicken Parmesan, Lobster Ravioli, Tutti Mare w/ vegetables and Salmon Alla Pesto. All of the dishes were wonderful. The Gnocchi has the consistency of little pillows, the Parmesan was plentiful and savory, the Ravioli was in an amazing vodka sauce, the Tutti Mare was also plentiful and perfectly cooked and the Salmon alla Pesto was crispy on the edges and moist and delicious on the inside and covered in the amazing crème pesto sauce. The waiter was attentive and friendly. I would definitely return again as there were many choices still to be had especially the calzone's that I saw go by with the waiters that looked amazing."

"We thought they were open for lunch. Turns out it was just the market and the deli that was open. We got sandwiches which were good but nothing remarkable. Great dessert and Prosciutto selections. Looks like a nice place. Maybe I was just disappointed that the restaurant was closed."

"We visit Newport Beach every year, and have just found a hidden gem in Newport Beach. We are from Rochester NY which has several great Italian restaurants, but I can honestly say I just dined on the best lasagnia I've ever had. The owner is delightful, and the atmosphere is very European and quaint. I highly recommend this restaurant."

"This is a regular place where we are very happy. the atmosphere is fantastic and eating is so good. we love to share the crivello lasagna and the carbonara. once in a past the rigatoni salsiccia. all we get is always good. these are the courts to which we tend to go and they are amazing. if they are on the look to slow down and have a good meal, we recommend them!"
