"Very acceptable quality of steak, had the Toro's special with the steak sliced and served on a bed of mash on a sizzling hot plate. Cooked well, although was very, very hot due to the red hot platter it was served on. Homemade coleslaw was lovely as was the accompanying steak sauce. All in all a good dining experience with good quality food, would definitely return."

"Went to the restaurant for my birthday and I can honestly say this was quite possibly the best steak I have ever eaten. Cannot fault the service or the food from start to finish a delightful experience in a quality restaurant. We will 100% be returning very soon."

"Covid 19, NO contactless delivery RY. Have notice on door advising of person with underlying health issues residing at address. Ordered and paid online, driver insisted in handing order over instead of leaving it on the doorstep as per government guidelines. Driver had no remorse for his actions, couldn't understand what he did wrong. ABSOLUTELY FUMING"

"Initially I really struggled to book the table, the number on the Facebook page doesn't work, my emails weren't answered and a messenger wasn't received However... we turned up and the staff couldn't have been better they are such lovely people and work so hard! We have had a great time, really really loved it I think we would of given a 5 if the cocktails were cheaper as the price point is a little high albeit very nice £8.50 The restaurant itself is very nice, lovely decor and very nice toilets! You could get really dressed up and you would fit in fine or a more relaxed vibe. Great music and easy to forgot your in coventry! The ladies served us initially with some bread and cheese Then bruschettas, again really nice Salad and the most delicious coleslaw...then the meat started!! The steak, lamb and baby beef is sooo good! The mash potato with the brisket is also nice Ribs also made it a 4 and not a 5 as our friend loves ribs and they are a little salty, but the rest is incredible!!! The food is just awesome....everything is tasty and the accompaniments are very good! 10% service charge but we all agreed that this was worthwhile as the staff do such a god job so we didn't mind at all"

"I went Royal Grill in Coventry to order food. I was waiting, the person on the till saw me waiting about 5 to 10 minutes. He answered the phone twice without acknowledging me. Then a second phone rings and a chef from the back comes running to answer the phone. I said to him that I’m waiting to place the order, but he continues to answer the phone. By this point I had enough and ripped up the menu and walked out and got in the car. Then 2 or 3 of them came running and starting banging on my car and said I was rude and threatened to break my car windows next time. Learn some manners you thugs, I certainly won’t be going back."

"For all meat lovers ask for the Hamza special pizza. Very special with a filled crust with doner kebab in chicken tikka onions and very balanced feels like eating a mixed grill on a pizza. Very reasonable price and very friendly staff. Please go there. Especially when you're a carnivore like me"
