"If you're in the area and really want an acai bowl, I'd say give this place a shot. The bases seem to be premade, as they are pulled from a freezer. The topping to base ratio was off (too much toppings), and the strawberries tasted old. It was about $12 for a very small portion."

"The service at Krio was pretty good, but the food was sub-par for the price. All of the portions were much smaller than we expected and the mussels were very over cooked. The fried seafood baskets were mostly fries with barely any seafood 6 pieces of shrimp in one and three skinny slivers of cod that probably made up one fillet in the other . Also, they were out of almost every type of seafood and bread ! when we arrived at 730 for our meal, so that really limited our options. It took a while for the food to come out and the restaurant only had 4 tables seated. I did enjoy the K’reaper wings, but there weren’t enough of them on the plate for me to go back to order them again."

"I was craving arepas and they were delicious! I found them pretty overpriced though $30 for two cheese arepas and a papaya juice. But then I also bought five pre made, plain frozen arepas and a block of queso fresco for about $12, so I can whip some up quick and easy at home. Plus about $2 worth of papaya in the blender. Cool place though, and charming I'll go back for a full dinner sometime."
