"Great steak experience at the mid level price range. The steaks are perfectly seasoned and cooked at the desired temperature. The pork chop was dry but the flavors were good. It would've been more than it's worth if it we're cooked better. The sides are average, but you're not there to eat veggies. Overall, a very enjoyable experience definitely worth a try."

"Claude's Café de Ville is a magnificent restaurant housed in an old mansion right in the busy city centre. It's a beautiful and tasteful oasis in a dusty,chaotic area of town. And the beauty of it all, the quality of the food actually matches the surroundings. It's such a pleasant surprise to find authentic, classy French food in this little corner of the world. During the holiday season Claude offers some really rare treats such as calve's head or couscous royale (with delicious merguez) on top of his standard menu. The foie gras at Claude's is small and pricy but truly sublime, certainly one of the best i've had in the Philippines. And i found the other items on his menu reasonably priced for the quality offered. Service is competent and attentive, a rarity in this country, and Claude himself watches over everything. The only negative thing i could say about Claude's is that the wine list exclusively French and therefore bad value. The house wine is good but at a hefty 1150 Php it better be and there are no better value new world wines on the menu. Nevertheless, the existance of a gem like Claude's in this remote, underappreciated city is very appreciated."
