"Looked outside. no funeral given to us until we got our food. very windy on the deck. eating was bland and very average independent of the plate. my wife said it was the worst shrimp spot she ever had. will not return."

"Fish and chips were the best. Great atmosphere. We were dressed like beach bum vacationers and felt our of place. Our waitress seemed upset to have us because we didn't look like big tippers like the other patrons. The food was great though and we were very pleased with our experience. We will dress better the next time we go."

"We decided to have our high time in the sea view and it was the best decision of our life. for beginners the location of the place is amazing and so close to the sea. the venue itself has an incredible view and is also beautiful inside. the bar room and the terrace were perfect for our cocktail hour and the area fits our live band and 140 guests with lightness. the work with gail made the planning stress-free, and she was always there to answer our calls/texts when we had to ask. gail and the personal ensured on our high-time day that it was wrong-free, which helped us enormously. the whole night went amazing without missing a beat and eating was delicious! I would recommend the sea view to anyone who thinks about getting married in the Cape."

"Make yourself a favor and skip this restaurant. High prices for bad quality food and deorganized kitchen. I was served 20 minutes after my table. Five minutes after my meal we were asked if we wanted the check. Additionally, my order was wrong (and I was charged an additional fee that was removed after they let it know). I really wanted to like this restaurant (it has a nice atmosphere), but it's just not worth it. I felt very unpleasant and hungry. Even if you decide to go, please note that the prices on the menu are cash prices, but you pay an additional 3.95% if you are billing (even if you pay cash). You will then refund the fee after you pay. While this is not a big thing on its own, this is not written on the menu or explained by the waiter. There is a very small sign that it explains. Again, not a big deal, but feels misleading."
