"The food is fresh, local, healthy and delicious. The staff are amazingly friendly and nothing is too much trouble. My daughter has coeliac disease, and they created a perfect menu for her.It is a great venue for a family meal (also has a really great outdoor playground), dinner for 2 or a private event. I can imagine it would be a lovely venue for a small wedding. They are also dog-friendly.Cannot recommend it highly enough."

"Wir haben dieses Restaurant zufällig entdeckt und uns durch die schöne und angenehme Atmosphäre, sowie die charmante Gastgeberin inspirieren lassen. Und das Ergebnis hat voll und ganz überzeugt! Die Küche ist leicht und ausgesprochen lecker. Ein wahrer Geheimtipp!! Unter der Woche gibt es ein Menu zu einem unschlagbaren Preis, insbesondere wenn man die Klasse dieses Hauses berücksichtigt!! "Vor zwei Tagen habe ich per Mail für heute Abend einen Tisch reserviert für ein gemütliches Zusammensein mit Freunden zu einem feinem Nachtessen in der "alten Mühle" in Rickenbach. Innert Stunden erhielt ich eine Reservationsbesätigung.Ich war vorher noch nie da und habe mich also auf die Urteile meiner Kollegen vom Tripadvisor verlassen. Und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht.Freundlicher Empfang durch das Servicepersonal. Sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Rasche Bestellungsaufnahme, zügige Bedienung. Das Essen macht hier noch Spass. Die Teller sind sehr schön angerichtet, die Speisen frisch zubereitet und schmecken köstlich. Die Weine sind sind gut assortiert. Die Preise sind moderat, das Preis / Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Die angenehme, rustikal eingerichtete Bauernstube gab dem ganzen Nachtessen einen gediegenen Rahmen.Kurzum, ich werde dieses Restaurant wieder besuchen!"

"The restaurant Wiesental visit my wife and I have been visiting for 10 years. we are always greeted politely with handbeat. the services are friendly and courteous. and above all eating, salad, pizza taste me and my wife very good. you just realize that there is still much to be made here. about an incomparable salatsouce and of course the excellent pizza. the ambiente is romantic, a good atmosphere with beautifully arranged table to feel comfortable and only in the summer you can sit out in this rurally beautiful environment with friends eating. so we can recommend the restaurant. en guata."

"Wir haben uns spontan für einen Besuch entschlossen. Das Personal und die Ambiente sind super. Auch die Anrichtung des Essens war sehr schön. Leider hatte ich Pech mit meinem Essen. Als ich es meldete ging mein Teller zwar zurück aber er kam ein paar Minuten wieder zurück. Hatte das Gefühl es wurde einfach gewärmt. Ich habe die Rösti beanstandet. Schade. Wir werden es nochmals probieren. Aber der erste Besuch war eher entäuschend."

"This restaurant, literally The Mill, is located about 15 minutes from the center of Winterthur and accessible by bus no. 676 from Winterthur's main railway station. On the site now is the third reconstruction of the old Mill in 1773. The grounds have a playground, outdoor tables, a petting zoo which the website states has animals that can be fed. Outside there are antique structures and equipment. As it was a cold winter night, we could not explore too much. Inside. rustic painted walls and doors depicted the history. Also inside the Eichmühle has several beautiful tropical fish aquariums. The restaurant itself boasts 50 varieties each of Cordon Bleu, cheese fondues, rösti & spätzle, plus pasta with a large selection of sauces. The German menu, newly available in English, also lists soups, salads, and meats including wild game. It is set up for large groups and events, as well as small parties. Our fondues were served in individual pots with burners and the other dishes arrived on trivets in frying pans. The food was hearty and good. Though parking spots were a little unclear, there is parking on the grounds."
