"Wir (5 Personen) waren durch Zufall zur Terrasseneröffnung im Tisch 7 zu Gast. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und immer unauffällig im Hintergrund. Mit Weinen aus dem Winzerkeller Sommerach und Brennfleck aus Sulzfeld wurde hier auch voll unser Geschmack getroffen. Zur Eröffnung wurde ein "Grillmeister" samt Beefer eingeladen, der mir ein hervorragendes Tomahawk-Steak zubereitet hat. Ich kann den Laden nur empfehlen!!!"

"Wir sind heute mittags hier eingekehrt, um das von außen recht unscheinbares Restaurant auszuprobieren. Wenn wir zum Italiener zu einem Test-Essen gehen, muss natürlich der Klassiker auf den Tisch: Hausgemachte Antipasti (4€), Tomatensuppe (4,50€) und eine Pizza Margherita (7€).Die Pizza hatte einen ganz leckeren Mozzarella als Belag.Angesichts der fairen Preise und der sehr schmackhaften Qualität für diese drei Speisen kann man auf gar keinen Fall motzen. Ein bisschen mehr Basilikum und ein bisschen Olivenöl wäre noch das Sahnehäubchen obendrauf gewesen.Der sehr herzliche und professionelle Service mit der angenehmen Musikbegleitung tat sein übriges, um uns so richtig aus dem Alltag zu holen. Die Einrichtung ist auch sehr authentisch. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und werden natürlich gerne wiederkommen, um die leckeren Fischspeisen ausgiebig zu probieren. Hierfür werden wir auch unsere Freunde mitnehmen, die uns um einen Test des Restaurants gebeten haben."

"Four of us ate at Taj Mahal, each for the first time. The first impression is that this is not your usual Indian restaurant. Without doing more than it is, the Taj is beautifully decorated. Mirrors give the impression of a larger capacity. Tables are irregularly placed and offer more privacy than standard corridor placement. The table settings bridge the gap between standard and up-scale. We are all fans of Indian food. The menu offers a lot for every taste. What was missing were Indian beers I feel are an important compliment for the kitchen. Two of us ordered from the Tandoori offers, one from the vegetarian list and the fourth a spicy Murgh. Everyone was happy with their own food. I tried everyone and found no lack. The breads were a little disappointment and were perhaps average. We had different drinks, several breads, but no deserts. Our total costs, including standard tip, were €65. This makes Taj Mahal one of the best food values in Schweinfurt."

"After years you come back to Schweinfurt, look forward to a certain place, and it was closed for renovation. Tourist info was not far, quickly asked if there was something similar nearby. We recommend the horse, central location, on the pedestrian zone. After a short search we had found it in a beautiful place covered with platans. It escaped as ,sunfortunate, 4 star hotel with restaurant on the ground floor Although it was almost 2 o'clock, many guests sat at the food, and we still got the last free table. There were lunches of the day, on this day Rotbarsch fillet with salad plate, and a small but fine menu. This included about 8 foods, some soups and various salads. Great, not massive. My husband ordered the redfish fillet for 13 Euro 90 at the discreet friendly service, I ordered the Reh Ragout from the map with Franconian latences, mushrooms and cranberry sauce for 15 Euro 90. Very beautiful designed for the eye, it came after a reasonable time, and tasted fantastic. Now I understand why it was so full here. The deer meat was a bit dry, because it was totally slimmer, but together with the fried Spätzle and the tasty sauce it was very well mouthed. I can't judge the night here, but the restaurant is worth all 5 stars."
