"Great time spent in this little gem of a pub. Two great ladies behind the bar (one I believe was manager) Great selection of local ales and drink deals, only let down was it looked like they were putting the West Ham game on the TV"

"My friend and I have been coming for a meal at least once a month for a while and we always enjoy it the food is consistently good and the service is too a huge bonus in these days of unsmiling servers. Yesterday we had a lovely meal and were tempted by a pancake dessert, but didn't want the salted caramel sauce it specified on the menu. The server offered several alternative sauces, with a smile and very helpful, pleasant attitude, willing to be flexible very unusual to find nowadays. We really enjoyed our pancakes with maple syrup, and will be asking for it next time! Thanks very much, Courtney, and well done Scawsby Mill for encouraging such excellent service, with very reasonable prices."

"Before we had no great experience in the maple tree, I contacted the manager and was invited back. I can say, based on the meal and service we have received on the 2nd visit, is wow, and thanks to jenny and all those who were beautiful and have looked after us so well. eating was great I had the steak pipe, which is a real torte, my daughter has a food allergy that is treated with a customized menu. all round great things."

"First visit to Boat Inn for a while and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. There was plenty of choice on the menu and the food we had was very good. The Pub has had an excellent refurbishment and is comfortable and welcoming. The staff were pleasant and helpful particularly Adrian. We will definitely be back soon."

"Stumbled across this place for a quick lunch and so glad we did. Nice place, modern and relaxed. Friendly staff and amazing fish finger sandwiches with home cooked chips. Amazing value for money too. Can't waiting to go back."

"In the leopard with a group of mates. the pub was lively and above all it was warm and welcoming. there was security on the door, but that doesn't mean it has to be. the ales were in order. the workers were busy and hard working and we also cost a few pizzas to keep us on. the leopard is a pretty looking traditional pub that needs to be visited defo if they want a good pub."
