"Mein Freund, der gerne viel, gut und früh isst (nennen wir ihn "den Gourmand"), schlägt Chinesisch zum Mittagessen vor. Es geht um halb Zwölf ins Lucky Dragon im Zentrum Dornbirns, konkret im Ulmerpark. Das Auto kommt in die Tiefgarage und ich durchschreite den von zwei Elefanten flankierten Eingang. Links die Küche, gerade aus das Buffet und rechts nehme ich beim Gourmand Platz.Das Interieur ist angenehm zurückhaltend und nicht so kitschig und überladen wie üblicher Weise. Vor dem Gourmand steht schon eine Suppe, woraus ich schließe, dass das Buffet am Programm steht. Dieses steht einem werktags um 9,90 Euro offen. Teppanyaki gäbe es auch, wir beschränken uns aber auf das Vorgefertigte. Ich starte mit etwas Eierreis, Frühlingsrollen und Kostproben von gebratenem Huhn bzw. Rind mit Gemüse. Das Huhn liegt geschmacklich leicht vorne, kommt in der zweiten Runde präferiert auf den Teller und wird mit etwas Gebackenem sowie Nudeln kombiniert. In weiterer Folge kommen auch noch Bananen (sowohl gebacken als auch mit Schokosauce) sowie fertiges Speiseeis dran.Mit zunehmender Dauer füllt sich das Etablissement. Das Buffet bleibt wohl gefüllt. Die Speisen sind durch die Bank schmackhaft und machen einen frischen Eindruck. Auch die Sauberkeit am Buffet passt. Das ob des Konzepts minimierte Service funktioniert mit asiatischer Zurückhaltung. Für den Hinweis auf die Parkgarage gibt es einen Euro oben drauf (in der Tat kostet das Ticket 1,50). Fazit: Liebhaber/innen von Chinesischem wird hier ein vernünftiges Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis geboten."
