"We just spent our first weekend at Grand Harbor Resort and this will also be our last weekend at Grand Harbor Resort.Room Our room was extremely dated. One side of the bed had no outlets to charge a phone. There was no counter in the bathroomSink in the bathroom did not drain. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. No place to hang wet swimsuits to dry (and considering this is a waterpark...it is needed). Air conditioner was not working properly and was 75 degrees in our room at one point.There was a small refrigerator that worked well. Beds were very comfy including the pull out couch. Pillows were nice and plenty of them.Breakfast in the morning was meh...basic hot items, some cereal, some fruit. It was adequate.Waterpark Snack bar was open both times we were there. Kids (8 year olds) enjoyed the play area and slides. Plenty of pool towels to use.Water was clean. Ladies bathroom needed a little TLC.Tony Roma's Had lunch there. It was super hot and there were flies all over. We spent most of our meal trying to swat them away.Had the strawberry pecan salad. It was just ok. Would not order it again.BBQ chicken was good!!! Kids and hubby loved it!!!!Service Front desk staff was neither cold nor warm but could use some help with people skills. For example, ice machine on the 3rd floor wasn't working. Told someone at the front desk and she told me to go to another floor and try a different one. Well I had already done that but wanted them to know.Housekeeping always brought up towels right away when we called for more.Maintenence was by far the nicest guy!!! He had to come and look at a shower issue and the air in our room. He was quick and fixed issues with a smile!!!Location You cannot beat the location!!!! So close to everything and we walked almost every where.Unfortunately for the amount of money you spend, it's not worth it. Buy a day pass if you want the Waterpark and stay somewhere else!!!"
