"We were guests at a wedding at the Millwork Ballroom. Our first impression was that the signage for the location wasn't very clear. We eventually found it, but with effort. And we're local to Dubuque. As we walked in, we noted that the place has a nice atmosphere and is well lit. Because it's an old building, the layout is constrained by large posts. In general, this wasn't an issue, but it does limit the layout somewhat, particularly with the dance floor. The biggest drawback with the posts is that one complete row has a very large add on, which easily doubles the size of the post, up to about eye level. We found that this row of posts really disrupted the feel and flow, and particularly the sight lines and visibility. This definitely impacted our ability to see the wedding party procession and speeches, as well as the dance floor and band. Everyone at our table mentioned the same issue. Not sure why it's done that way, but changing it will help the atmosphere tremendously and make it a 4 or even 5 star experience for guests. Otherwise, the bar staff and catering team were all friendly."

"I absolutely love the strawberry rhubarb, I used to purchase it often when I lived in Iowa and after I moved, I bought 16 bottles to enjoy and share with friends and family. Unfortunately the price of the wine is $12 but the shipping is now almost $22. That is almost double the price of the wine itself. The shipping used to cap out at a maximum price after so many bottles, which it no longer does. It makes me very sad to say I won't be buying from them any longer."

"Great place! On Thursday they hosted open microphone from Chad Olson. So if you play or sing, come down. Have fun. There are always different musicians over. On the first Friday every month they make a bluegrass jam. You have a large roof terrace with AstroTurf. They cure live music and DJ's on the weekend until midnight on the roof. Just check their website to see who is being introduced. The owners are really nice people. The bartenders are super inviting and keep the place nice and clean. Sorry about the bad quality of the pictures. I don't have a great camera on the phone."
