"So we were looking for a good middle eastern/mediterranean restaurant in Montreal and found Mirage. The reviews were a bit all over the place, but we thought we'd give it a whirl. And we weren't disappointed! Look, it's not the fanciest restaurant but the ambiance was nice, and the food is delish! The fattoush (salad was terrific, as was the tabbouleh. We had the kibbeh also yummy. For the main meal, we got a mixed grill platter everything on it was really good (but think about getting extra grilled tomatoes and onions with it . The mint tea was authentic and a great finish to a really good meal that we all felt was excellent (and I was with four people from the middle east, so... . We all wanted dessert, but honestly had no room left. Lastly, our server Inssaf was great. He was attentive, really on top of things (and we were pretty needy, so that's saying something . He was friendly, answered all our questions about the menu, very helpful. If I lived in Montreal, I'd visit regularly, no question. When I travel to Montreal next, I'll definitely make a point of having lunch or dinner at Mirage again."

"I was looking for a place to learn and found this beautiful café. The whole place is bright and there are several tables near the entrance and back. It's bigger than it looks from the outside. However, the music is quite loud (I sat in my back). I tried her cheese chicken package and it was delicious! It is not like a regular pack, the bread is thick and sponge. I would recommend this place if you were looking for a café where you could get a snack with some coffee."

"I wish we got some cold sandwiches from the pharmacy Across the street and kept our 100bucks to spend on something worthy. Worst greek restaurant ever. Nothing was fresh. Bread was over cooked, souvlaki undercooked, moussaka was swimming in oil. Slow and grumpy server. She could not even calculate the bill correctly. I would not eat anything if we were not starving and we still had to leave half the plates because most things were barely edible. This is probably the first time I was negatively surprised about a place after reading trip advisor reviews. I should have paid attention to the critical ones."

"Unbelievable experience. We were served incredible food, with excellent suggestions, by the owner himself! An expensive Moroccan and Scottish cuisine? Yes, please! That was so good, the interesting food, the beautiful little place, the food! The Buffalo Cauliflower and Slider were excellent, highly recommended Sorocco!"
