"Having arrived in Eastbourne around lunchtime on a Friday, we decided to do for a hot lunch. The Crown Anchor provided a friendly welcome and a menu which suited us both. I went for the fish n'chips while Mrs Moose had scampi. It was...good, no frills pub food enjoyed by both of us."

"We had a 70th birthday meal. Staff were amazing, food was lovely they couldn't have done more to make the night special. 17 people all enjoyed they're meals. Absolutely fantastic service. Thank you to all the staff x"

"Three of us came to the chance and, although packed, they pushed us in and advised it would be a waiting time. it was and when the food arrived, it was perfect. the service was excellent and attentive, even though it was clearly a stressful time. well made Bibendum’s, we will be back and would hesitate to recommend them to friends."

"The service was dreadful which was a shame because we have eaten here previously and it had been very good. We waited 40 minutes for bread! We asked for water several times without it ever coming and the general attitude of the staff was poor."

"Your staff member Hannah was just weird and rude as soon as we walked in she was talking about us to other colleagues and constantly looking at us making it very awkward while me, my friend and all our children where eating our dinners. I then went to the bar to ask if my children's ice cream that I'd pre paid for could come out and went to sit back down she rushed over demanding that I had to pay to which I told her I already had and showed her the email receipt. I complained to the manager and nothing was done so we left. Food was good but the rude, weird, creepy staff member hannah ruined our dinner experience."
