"Me and the wife had afternoon tea here today. We were treated by our daughters with a voucher for Christmas. Wasnt too busy and we had a table for 2 all set up for us. It was a lovely tea with pots of tea on tap, lovely apple juice also. A nice selection of sandwiches, a lovely large scone each with heaps of jam and cream. 5 large portions of gateau, each differant. A very nice tea, i personally would like a bit more salad and some crisps even if it meant losing a portion of gateau. We had foil to take most of the gateaus home with us. Would recommend this to one and all"

"We visited Mother's Day for the afternoon. I love afternoon and had many, and without doubt lady jayne is the best in the opposite! the quiche is the best quiche I've ever had! they get so much eat, be ready to take a few home, as it is impossible to fit everything! two glasses of ice or sorbet finish is a beautiful note that I never had on a afternoon tee anywhere else. it is a beautiful relaxed atmosphere and they added many small touches for Mother's Day. Make sure they book a table when they go, as it has only 6 tables inside, but has some outside that would be great with beautiful weather! a wonderful hidden shade I am reluctant to tell too many people about incase, it will be too popular to get a table! haha many thanks for their hospitality again!"
