"Tipping in to find a queue of at least a dozen people, I was pleasantly surprised to find the staff seamlessly and efficiently keeping the orders flowing. Apparently, people spill outdoors when there’s a hint of sunshine in Long Eaton, according to a local newsagent. Even though it was a busy mid morning Friday – the line was out the door at one point and the barista was wearing a face mask, our tray was perfectly assembled within minutes. Two crisp, perfectly warmed croissants and piping hot coffees to match promptly arrived at the hatch. Trotting over to one of the screened off booths, all that was left was to catch up with a good pal about Will Smith shenanigans, Top Gun, ambitions, family and all else… Kudos to the unflustered staff for serving the masses and getting our tray spot on, right down to the mini marmalade jars and foam art. Easy to overlook the baristas who work for a chain, but nowt was going to put this team out of their stride on the morning. Big grande salute."

"Amazing chips, wonderful tasty thick soup and lush hot baguette with real butter. My husband had a huge doorstop type sausage sandwich which he said was delicious. All in all the experience and the service was delightful."
