"I stopped here on a whim and was not disappointed. The owner makes real Southern BBQ, and his dedication to customers was evident. The food itself was excellent the best BBQ that I have had in Florida. In particular, I recommend the brisket and the Brunswick stew. The pork sandwiches, ribs, and other sides were also great. In summary, I highly recommend this hole in the wall BBQ joint! It is a must for anyone visiting Amelia Island."

"I brought my dog to eat with me as i have in the past. the back area where dogs are allowed was closed so I turned to leave. The waitress said to just sit in the dining room. I asked three times if that was allowed and she said yes. I ordered and when the food was delivered the owner said since my dog was not a service dog I couldn't eat in the dining room. she wanted me to go outside in the hot sun in the weed infested back area to eat. Very poor communication and service. With the price of food; it's very expensive, and the lack of gracious service I won't be back."
