"Almost our favourite in Fontenay. There is a restaurant, a bar area and in the summer an outside area - all are pleasant surroundings. The menu du jour is three courses with at least two choices and is excellent value for 15 euros. The a la carte and higher priced menus are of a very high standard."

"Located right at the central market, this place is patronised well by the locals. It looks a little formal from the outside but it is casual and friendly. The it is sometimes a restaurant and sometimes only a bar so you have to know when...to go, but it is fun to sit and watch the La Rochelle world go by. When they are serving food it is pretty good, big portions and tasty."
