"Phil 's has been a staple presence in our community for many years and I 'm sorry I waited this long to review them. Phil, his daughter Alyssa and his son Johnny always seem to be there no matter whether I drop in for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Their cooks and kitchen staff, servers and bar staff are well known faces to me. Phil 's has an extensive menu of some great comfort food favorites and many with their own twist . His breakfasts are huge, his burgers are massive, they have many East Coast favorites and several have a Southwest twist. The place is a tribute to everything Coca Cola as it dominates his decorating theme in the main dining area. This place is as close to the old-time diner as you 'll find. The positive exceptions are their many TVs in the bar dining area of their place or their frequent car shows and other events in the parking lot in the rear of the main restaurant. Food, drinks, servers, presentation and prices are all great! Give these guys a try for any meal, sports event or a great place to entertain your out of town guests or family. Thank you Phil and family for being a positive part of Fountain Hills for so many years!"

"The place smelled like it had been burned items for a long time. I had the run and octopus sashimi, and both fish taste, very old, not fresh at all. I also had the spicy tuna, crunch roll, and it tasted very bland. They got two stars because the service was OK."

"Super friendly and helpful staff. eating was great! we had Friday fish fry and it is not just a fish n chips court; it is really fish and the brot is easy. the fries and brokkoli were seasoned. had a great beer from hawaii, can not remember names, but it is up on the current (juli 2022) beer menu. not too expensive and eating is great. all were satisfied with our meal times."
