"This is a well-known establishment in the heart of Gainesville. The food is excellent and fresh seafood is available. The crab legs I ordered were extremely hot and slightly open. I also recommend the steam spy shrimp and fried oysters. My favorite side dish is hush puppies."

"Every time we have tried this place service is poor. Today we sat for 15 minutes and nobody even asked if we wanted anything to drink. We just left. Seriously needs better management. We won't go back. Gainesville Dinner has better and service food, it is our go to breakfast place. Small family owned place."

"They changed their Lyonnaise potatoes, making me sad. Their potatoes were always my favorite, but their only domestic fries now and lacked the season they had earlier. Omelet was delicious and our server was friendly. I'm gonna say the service is a hit or miss, but I'm sure it's just related to the staff."
