"Great feel to this place. Very welcoming relaxed. The Proletariat is located off the Strand. And that's a good thing. It's calmer in here. You don't feel as rushed. Great selection of beers, wine they have an espresso machine. The music art is a great touch."

"This place was perfect for a cold day on the island. The chicken and sausage has a dark roux and was seasoned perfectly. The gator and fried pickles were both hot and crispy. The garlic bread was nice to dip in the huge bowl of gumbo. Our waitress was attentive and filled drinks often. Food came out hot and pretty fast. They forgot my order of sweet potato fries, but I didn't have room to eat them anyway."
