"It was the largest souvenir shop we were in, but not the designs of t-shirts we thought they'd have. Half the store had murdochs' printed on everything, but the people we were buying for would have no idea who that was. The other half of the store was Galveston, but not the really pretty designs I like. There were a couple of cute items I would have loved for my bathroom, but figured they would maybe get broken quickly with how fragile they were. Needed some better 4x6 picture frames, but we did buy one. Also did buy a couple of t-shirts. Cute place. Lots of other items to see!"

"My wife and I visited Rudy and Paco last night for the first time based on the recommendation of our friends at church. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. We enjoyed a lobster tempura appetizer along with a red blend wine known as Prisoner . For our entrée we had the plantain encrusted snapper along with a side salad with bleu cheese dressing. For dessert we had the lava cake with vanilla ice cream and coffee. Our server Franco was very attentive. All in all we had a very memorable evening and we will definitely return."

"This was our third trip to the new Pelican Club and all have been nice experiences. The lighting and atmosphere is brighter and a little more upscale than the old club. This trip, I had the red snapper on risotto and it was excellent. My wife had the barbeque shrimp and it was a bit salty and slightly overcooked and the bbq sauce had too much worcheshire sauce for our taste. It was OK. The wine list is adequate and service was good. The barbeque shrimp kept me from giving this a 4 star rating."
