"Very busy outside and a queue at the bar so I almost went elsewhere, anyway noticed the inside dining area was nearly empty. We took a table, browsed the menu , order taken and drinks delivered. Food came along shortly afterwards. So no queuing , and prompt service. The food was better than I had expected. We enjoyed Fish pie and Crab burger mains and just finished off with a coffee and mini Bakewell. I do like an Almond slice."

"Friendly staff and clientele, will perhaps become a regular. Have since become a regular and can highly recommend Wednesday supper club and Sunday afternoon entertainment. All will make you welcome; staff and patrons. Have a great array of gins but restricted bottled beer. Wine list is fairly extensive but not expensive."

"I can never get enough of this place! never a long wait for food, always delicious, friendly personal owners are definitely the kind of chefs they want to work for! awesome vibe inside and beautiful selection of beer p.s eating price not too high as many places also! recommend this venue! great place to relax on the sofa have a beer in doors when it is too hot out! jags is the place where they want to be on Sunday and they have a great Sunday session with live music great good vibes in there! would be a 10 5 if I could, but 5 5 it is!"
