"A truly Canadian experience away from home as well as at home. We ended up here on a late cold evening as the local sea food cafes had wait times of 3/4 of an hour or more. Nice place to relax and enjoy good food after a day of sight seeing in Halifax. Always great food from coast to coast."

"Worst service I have ever received. Our group waited an hour and 15 minutes for food to arrive. It was fairly busy, but not super busy and we saw at least two tables order after us and get their food before us. It took more than 30 minutes for one person at our table to receive his beer.I walked out before the food arrived. My husband returned my meal when it arrived. He paid by credit card for his and did not leave a tip. When he showed me the bill, I saw that they had added a 15% gratuity to the bill already. I don't know of anywhere else in Halifax that automatically adds a gratuity to the bill.I'm infuriated and will be telling everyone I know about the lousy service and questionable billing practices."

"Well unfortunately this place has done a complete 180, I've been going here for over 5 years and always loved this place and there food. I decided to take my mother today and it was night and day difference in the quality and portions of the food. I ordered clams and chips for $21 and got 6 clams 3 of which where strips and all of which were chewy as heck, the gravy has cold and the fries where undercooked. My mother has ordered the same thing here everytime, cheeseburger and a side spinich salad.. today was the first time she could not finish the burger said it tasted horrible.. I took a bite... whatever that is it's not hamburg.. All the people sitting at other tables were complaining aswell about the fish was not haddok and very fishy, there fries also undercooked, another guy got a beef dip and the meat was as think as a credit card, like 1 tiny slice... Anyway I'll never go back to this rip off of a place. Ps.. I did ask the waitress (who was very nice and very sorry) if they got a new cook and indeed they did."

"I recently visited St. Louis in Dartmouth, NS, and it was an incredible experience. The garlic sticks, cauliflower bites, plant-based wings, and crispy potatoes were all bursting with flavor. The staff was friendly, and the cozy atmosphere added to the enjoyment. A must-visit for food enthusiasts!"
