"Nice quaint restaurant by the dam. Lovely outdoor patio under canopy of trees. Limited selection on menu for lacto-vegetarians but waiter made a plan and we enjoyed lovely fresh food (aside from the chips- which must've been from the day before). Good starters and decent veg platter. Nice drive from JHB and escape from hustle and bustle of the city."

"This is an amazing place to stop for something sweet or savory. The service isn’t as good as the sweet pancakes, but if you keep in mind that most people enjoy a cruse around Harties, it really is understandable. The live music from the market behind the restaurant makes for a chilled vibe. This was a good treat!"
