"Not the best fish chips I had, but it was a Monday and most others were closed, so churchill gave a try. my medium-sized toy was 1.5 pieces in a teig I found tasteless, although the fish was quite beautiful. the great disappointment at...I was that at the price they calculate, I did not expect the fish to leave their skin on! my preference is skinless cod. my wife had the sampi and again was not overly impressed and wished she had gone for the cod! the prepacked tartaric acid sauce was more like mayo, but it was hot! undoubtedly the better chippies are the Verne and/or ancells farm."

"Don’t ever eat from here. I don’t write reviews as I don’t have the time, but I feel I just have to write about this place. I ordered through Just Eat, for simple Chinese starters, they arrived, over cooked and cold! I ordered satay Chicken,...prawn toasts, spring rolls, seaweed and ribs. I phoned to complain, and was told they are meant to be served cold! No apology! Nothing Chinese is my favourite food and I have never had this food served cold!"

"I will never eat from there again we had family round and when my husband bought the food home and we were serving it up there was not 1 but 2 long red hairs in the chips! It made me feel sick! Hair should be put up in a net to prevent things like this happening!! All they could say was we will give free chips next time like we would ever eat from there again! Very poor hygiene!"

"Honest review! Great food, but mediocre portions (unless you order large portions). Prices are reasonable. However, if you want to purchase anything less than £10, you cannot use a debit card...cash only. P.s, there are no cash points in the area (at least 3 miles to the nearest one), to which I believe is Evetham Heath). Very clever...Not. Just lost out on a lot of business from 'passing through ' customers! Meal type: Dinner"

"Good food, nice atmosphere, attentive staff. good portions, but some dishes were a little rich and repetitiv in terms of taste variety (e.g. white crabs risotto). brulee cheesecake was fantastic. we didn't try the steaks, but next time."
