"What a wonderful place to relax with a glass of wine! The owner Lizette is attentive, friendly and very welcoming. I love that she is so involved in the running of the restaurant. The food is really tasty and there is something for everyone here. Hint: the sun room is super comfy and cosy!"

"Was not too happy about being seated at the entrance door with a cold breeze wafting in particularly as there was any number of empty tables available and by the time we left they had not been filled. Perhaps it was due to my rather rough and rugged appearance after the Springboks's victory. However the oxtail was superb! And there was plenty of it too!! Corkage was minimal and coffee on a par with the oxtail.The table was well set with good quality cutlery crockery and glass. Will definitely return."

La Pentola has always been known for combining flavours in a way that one might not be used to....but then your palet ignites with the bursts of flavour.<br/ <br/ Always enjoyed going there.... Try the crayfish!<br/ <br/ We got married earlier this year and asked Shane (the owner chef) to do your wedding dinner for us and our guests. It was the best decision we could have made. Shane and his team went above and beyond. Prawn platters, duck, salads I can go on. Honestly the best food we ever had. The waiters were so helpful, even helping with our three year old nephew so his mom could eat.<br/ <br/ Thank you Shane for providing us.... and South Africa with amazing food and culinary experiences!"
