"My favorite thing about Six Paupers is the staff. Always friendly, helpful and easy to talk to. The food is some of the best I’ve ever had. I’m a seafood nut…theirs is some of the freshest and most innovative I’ve had. Other favorites include their burgers, meatloaf wrap and seafood nachos. The 1/2 prced wine night on Tuesday is easy on the pocketbook. It’s great to have such a good bar/restaurant in Hockessin. I’ve been going for five years (since they opened I think). Always good"

"A small group of friends who do not see one another often went to Valle Cucina for lunch. The table was ready for us but the space in the booth was crowded, partially due to heavy jackets with no coat rack. Some of my heavier friends would not have fit in the booth. The food was excellent and the server was extremely friendly. I would recommend asking for a different, larger booth. Also we had sun glare from a car windshield and had to ask to have the shade lowered. Awkward situation with the adjoining booth occupants, but the server handled it well. I plan to go again with other friends but knowing the seating situation will be helpful on that visit."
