"Delicious Indian food with vegetarian/vegan options. The staff were so friendly and helpful when I asked about vegan options. I got an Aloo Gobi to go and it was delicious! I even asked to make it spicy and it actually was! Affordable prices too!"

"I initially put a review on Tripadvisor then thought I'd better put it on here to : Best Sandwich Ever. The beef sandwich with avocado has got to be the best sandwich I've every had. The bread is made fresh daily and the ingredients is plenty-full and fresh. Really good."

"Amazing cafe! I really enjoyed my steak and blue cheesecake and mochaccino. They treated the influx of around 50 people from the local student Volunteer Army Camp very well. Next time, I'm back in Hokitika to this beautiful café."

"Beautiful setting. Quiet comfortable and extremely clean accomodation. Excellent continental breakfast. Restaurant on site with great menu and food. Outdoor patio from room would be wonderful in warm weather for sitting watching the fabulous sunsets"

"Pork belly for lunch was lovely. Probably needs the fat to be more crispy than chewy. Reasonable price. Good value for money. Nice to see Filipino breakfast/meals i wish i had seen the menu beforehand but i did enjoy what i have ordered. Filipino staff were friendly and hard working. A must place to have coffee and/or meals in Hokitika."

"Perhaps the dinner menu has more options, but the lunch menu has nothing but a bowl chips (hold the aioli) and simple boring with maischips. the personal has not confirmed us. the atmosphere wasn't nice either. maybe they try her luck at dinner otherwise don't waste her time"

"It is not a 100% vegan place, but it has some options! I added it as there are only 2 lists at the time of adding and one of them the standard Indian restaurant... well here is an Asian also for diversity. I added the veggie menu per April 2018. (hidden link)"
