"We stopped here opportunistic on the way to the home from the airport stanstead. it is a popular place where reservations are recommended, but they went away to find us a table. we ate the Sunday roast and were not disappointed. we really enjoyed our meal and if we were going through again, we would stop here. the service was very good and the prices were reasonable."

"What a lovely place . We were staying round the corner in a b b so a nice little walk for an evening meal and drinkipoo. Food was really nice we both had the chef's special pie with mash and cabbage absolutely fabulous good portion size and very tasty. Staff were really nice and attentive fab place all round."

"Varied menu, lots of curry choices. Pub classics such as hunter’s chicken, fish and chips and a pie are all here, but one side of the menu is purely curry options. Great portion sizes for good prices! If this place did steak, it would cover all bases! Visited on a busy Saturday evening, and our meal was taken, served, eaten and paid for within an hour and a half, and found space at the bar for a drink afterwards. Only downside was lots of tables packed in, and large groups were noisy. But that comes with being out on a Saturday"
