"A first time at this location and it was worth it. I always love this restaurant because they have the best bruschetta boards I've had at any restaurant. I did try the smoked salmon for the first time and that was really fresh and delicious. I sat at the bar and got the wine and salmon suggested to me from the bartender and she was great I didn't get her name but the service was great. Will be back soon!"

"The best xlb in Houston, no contest. Very close to Din Tai Fung in terms of the thinness and elasticity of the dumpling wrapper. The pork broth inside was full-bodied and luscious. I am a true fan. Get two orders for yourself and go to town!"

"This place is combined with jus’ Mac and wing Houston, they only serve biskit junkie food on Saturday and Sunday. Having a whole business presented on google like its own place is very misleading when it’s three places combined. This place isn’t very falsely advertised they need to fix this problem cause it’s highly bad for business"

"Every time Regina and I meet, we spend hours and hours in one place and only go when it gets dark. When we fell from Red Dessert Dive, it was no different. Red is located in the historic Houston Heights on 1045 Studewood Street, surrounded by local favorites and right on the street of White Oak Boulevard. This nice little sweet business is lovingly named after the owner Jessica Lusk grandmother; only Lusk's grandfather was allowed to call her Red while others called her Stella. This small dive is very environmentally friendly; they recycle each wine bottle and beer can be used, use rubber stamps instead of stickers, and the own design of the shop consists of recycled products. What attracted me first Red was an Instagram photo of her sticky toffee pudding with Southern Star buried Hass Stout ice and paired with Saint Arnold's Christmas Ale. If this doesn't make your mouthwater, I don't know what's wrong with you. I happen to be a fan of both breweries and wish I got my hands on a plate. The photos they publish on their social media accounts make you want to taste every hearty item, pastries, cakes and cakes! The day Regina and I decided to stop in the store was a very magical day. We started on their salted honeycake, their red velvet cupcake, and two cups of coffee from their friends over Boomtown Coffee (on the 19. road in height). The honey cake had the consistency of a pecan pie, but the baked tip of a pumpkin cake; very tasteful and the indication of the salt really improved how the honey meets our tongues. The red velvet cupcake was moist in the middle and the cream cheese frosting was delicious sweet. Since we decided to stay a total of five hours (yes, you have read correctly), we had another round of tasting. This time we tried her orange cheesecake and two cups of her ascent n’ sheen tea (freshly brewed before us). The pairing really made highlight the aromas of cheesecake; we both closed it tastes amazing like the “Creamsicles” of our childhood. The staff was super friendly and the owner even let us take photos of their infamous lemon berry cake; that we both regret not taking a disc to go. So if you are looking for a great place to drink a coffee or even enjoy a dessert with wine or beer during their happy hour, you should definitely stop from Red Dessert Dive and Coffee Shop. They are open Tuesday to Sunday; visit their website for the specific hours every day."
