"Visited on a Tuesday morning to study and review with classmates over coffee. I got both food and drink, all of which were over priced but I still paid as I was a customer. Chai was OK. Customer service not so much. Staff is rude. I brought my protein shake and mini bag of gardettos, and this was considered outside food. Also was explained that this is NOT a library. In the future I will avoid coming here as should other students, as students are not welcome."

"Very unique, creative and very delicious food! When we were there, we tried the west coast wrap and it was full of greens and grilled chicken, goat cheese and pistachios. Fresh food, made to order. One goes up to the register to order and then you wait while they fix your food and then you take it and go sit down. They are multi-level, it's narrow and not excessively deep, but there is quite of bit of seating for two people or four people and even if you're just by yourself. There are larger tables up stairs, (they have two floors) The restrooms are on the second floor, as well. Stairs are used to access the second level. They also have very tasty drinks. We had the blueberry lemonade."

"Perfect study/meeting spot! I usually get a latte here, which is always delicious. They’re chairs are very comfortable and there’s plenty of tables even during peak times. Prices are comparable to other coffee shops in the area. Probably one of the best coffee shops in town!"

"Mammitas was the bright spot in my day. Their latte was a good pick me up but even better was the person running the front. They were closing as I got there and she invited me in with welcome arms and didn't treat me as an inconvenience."

"This might be my favorite breakfast place in Iowa city. I love their coffee and that they have non dairy alternatives. For vegetarians and vegans, they have some really great breakfast choices. I love their scrambled tofu. It is seriously amazing. Their maple tempeh is a fantastic side. My husband always gets the French toast with feta cheese and blueberries it is soooooooo good. They also have bakery items with gluten free options."
