"Love love loves this place on the island for a weekend getaway from the children, but took the dog. came recommended us, ended on Friday and Saturday night, when the food and service was so good. we also stopped driving everywhere to find food. do not miss this place. it will be on our list as place of 'have to visit ' when we return to the island. well done to all workers to do this must visit pub and grub stop. great food."

"A mixed bag here to be honest. This is an expensive restaurant and should be a fab experience. The food was good, especially the meats, with unlimited fries and salad. I do think the Steaks at approx £30 each are expensive. The experience of cooking your own is great, but where this place lets itself down is the service and cost. If they are offering unlimited item like fries and salads, they should be regularly checking with you to see if you require more. It felt like they kept away from the table so we didn’t ask for more. Secondly and my biggest issue is it costs £11 (yes eleven) for Halloumi. I knew it was £11 but expected enough to cover all guests. It was a measly 4 small slices that shouldn’t have cost more than £3. Don’t buy the sides, it’s crazy money. So overall 3 stars and could easily be 4-5 stars if it didn’t feel like you were being taken for a ride with the prices and if the staff were more attentive. I guess they have the yachting set as a key customer group so they are pricing it accordingly. With the cost of living crisis, this means lots of us won’t go or go again. Total bill for 6, nearly £300. Think we can do better for cheaper elsewhere next time."

"Absolutly fantastic ! the staff were both friendly and helpfull and the food was 10 out of 10 ! The starters and main course and desserts were extreemly tasty and definately better than described ! Very big portions and full of flavour, we had the hunters chicken and steak, the mushrooms were extra but VERY tasty and highly recomended !"

"A return visit to this Family friendly pub. Facilities were still good but regret the food has gone completely down the pan !! Awful dried out reheated chicken and ribs and other poor Quality processed food. Save your money and take a pass !!!"

"This place really shines if you order in advance turning up without an order means you could wait up to 45 minutes at peak times. Really good fish and chips though. We will be back again. Parking: A small amount of on street parking just adjacent, but really only for half a dozen at most. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner"

"We have eaten here twice before and the standard is always high. Made to feel very welcome by the host. Decent real ales and also dog friendly. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Scampi and Chips, Hunter's Chicken"
