"I have been a regular at Just a Taste for 20 years, and I am completely disappointed with how downhill they have gone. It was by far my favorite restaurant in Ithaca for years and would be my go to with friends and date night. But unfortunately no more. The service was awful. Took 20 minutes to get a menu and another 20 minutes to get a drink. They took one of the top menu items, roasted potato wedges, and ruined the dish by cutting them up into hash browns. The squash was swimming in oil/butter and was completely mushy. Same with the braised greens. The number of glasses in a wine flight went down and there’s next to nothing in the glasses. This was a locals favorite but I know many who will no longer return due to the poor service and food. I think it’s time to bring back the old full menu and the window wait staff who are no longer there, both cherished by locals. So disappointed!"

"Really great Mexican cuisine in Ithaca! Loved all their delicious homemade salsas and Guac. Enchiladas were hot, cheesy, crispy and tasty. Service was excellent. The automatic 18% piece at the end is a little disgusting, especially when they say you can tap more and you need to do it before them. I always type 20% for a good meal, but others on my table did not like politics. I think they could do without them."

"Ordered 3 tacos, burrito and 2 drinks one night during Cornell Reunion weekend. The three tacos we ordered E, H, I with pork) were great. The Heidelbeer Chipotle H) and Citrus habanero I) were the best and I would order them absolutely. Good portions for the price $7 for all 3). Unfortunately we did not like the #7 Burrito almost so much, the rice overwhelmed the aromas of queso and it was very muddy. Probably our bad choice partly and personal preference. I'd stick to Tacos the next time, I saw some other combinations I'd like to try. Agave lemonade and lemonade were delicious, lemonade was perfectly sweet-tart. All in all, 4/5 and we'll be back when we're in town."
