"I have eaten at Perron many times, and each time I go there it gets better and better. Staff are always friendly and accommodating. Food is excellent with so many different options to choose from that we always land up ordering more than we can eat. What is really great are the many vegetarian options. It’s one of the few places that my girlfriend (vegetarian and I (carnivore can both have a lovely meal together. The atmosphere is perfect for an intimate date night, or a rowdy get together with all of your friends. Oh yes – don’t forget the chilli poppers and imported tequila – marvellous! One of the better places in JHB :"

"Often find myself returning to this little restaurant, but never sure what to expect. Service is always excellent, ambience unpredictable but usually vibrant, food always very affordable and edible but quality varies. Last night, however, I had the best espetado and chips imaginable and my friend a superb chicken peri-peri for an unbelievably good price, served by one of the best waitresses I've come across in years. In addition, a bottle of Beyerskloof pinotage was marked up by less than 50%. The entire experience was faultless."

"I've been to this branch many times, and have eaten a variety of the dishes on the menu (pasta, pizza, salad, desserts,etc). This is, however, the first time I have ever written a review. This review is mostly about my latest visit: the food, the service, and an overall conclusion.<br/ <br/ Mimmos is always good for a take-out. The pizza is satisfactory. It's not the greatest pizza I've ever had in my life, but it is definitely not the worst. I ordered my favourite Mimmos pizza: the tutto (ham, salami, bacon, onion, mushroom and garlic). I was filled. <br/ <br/ Now my service experience has always been mixed: one visit they are attentive (not excessively, but just the right amount), friendly and quick to help; another visit they are slow, and too distracted. Today was a good day. Friendly and helpful. Now let's just make that a more permanent attitude.<br/ <br/ Overall I left happy, and sated.<br/ BOOM!"

"This coffee shop has consistently improved over the years. The staff are so efficient and helpful and always on the lookout for how they can improve the experience. The decor has also improved and I really like the greenery that has been incorporated into the decor. The coffee shop offers both inside or outside seating and the open space is so well designed flowing out of the main Pick and Pay without making you feel as if you are sitting in a grocery shop. They offer quite a large selection especially for breakfast. This location makes this such an easy place to get access to and there is ample parking both outside and under roof."
