"Before I launch into my review.... If you 're in a hurry to know why I gave this establishment 4 stars, it is the quality of the food that we ordered from the menu. It was very good! So overlook anything else that might keep you from eating here! Traveling from Virginia to Charlotte, we decided to find something to eat off of Exit 82. The options were limited to basic fast food restaurants. Which we weren 't interested in at all. I spotted a sign for pizza. I wasn 't thinking that I wanted pizza but I figured they would have other Italian options. Honestly, this would not be a place that I would have entertained from the looks of the exterior. It 's located in a small shopping strip. I only mention this as constructive criticism for the owner and also to let you know Don 't judge a book by its cover. I believe that their pizza bar is an attraction for locals that are in a hurry and the price is great for that purpose as well. Again, being honest the pizza bar, which consisted of multiple types of pizza and a salad option, did not appeal to my family at all. It is similar to Cici 's Pizza, if you have ever been to one of those restaurants. Once you enter, the interior decor it is not much better than the exterior. (It 's a little dated . The food, however; is the reason why I gave this establishment 4 stars. Everything was fresh and very good!! I was worried that whatever we ordered from the menu would be from the freezer and microwaved. That was NOT AT ALL what we received. Everything was fresh and hot and VERY good! The pizza bar could possibly also be a good option but since we didn 't eat from the bar, I can 't offer any information on the quality of the bar. (The salad option was limited to an iceberg lettuce mix so it wasn 't all that appealing to me either. With all that said, the food was good and much better than I expected, it did take quite a while to receive our order. We ate at 3pm so it was well after lunch and too soon for a dinner crowd so maybe the kitchen was short staffed for that time of the day. Our server was pleasant and attentive as well. The owner or chef did come from the kitchen to check on the pizzas at the bar multiple times and he checked on us to make sure we were enjoying our food. (He seemed pleased when we told him how good it was. My hope is that the owner reads this post if they want to get others to come in, they might want to step back and look at the exterior and possibly try to dress it up a bit. As for the salad/pizza bar....hmmm maybe it 's great but it seems to detract from their true ability to deliver quality Italian food. Maybe we will stop by again to try the pizza (We would order it. I don 't think I would grab any from the bar. . Additionally, I for one would have ordered a salad to go with my calzone but I didn 't see any side salad options and I didn 't see any salads that offered anything other than iceberg lettuce (I could be remembering this incorrectly. . To touch on what we ordered, my oldest son and I ordered the small calzone. I ordered the supreme and it was delicious. My husband ordered the chicken parmigiana dinner and my younger son ordered the ravioli. It was a lot of food and very good. I hope my review helps you decide whether to stop in or not if you are on the fence about visiting this restaurant."

"I only went in for menu while my child was at a class in shopping center. But I will go back to eat there!! The lady at register was very friendly and upbeat. She said they have pizza buffet and salad bar, which is one of few in town. The price was very inexpensive. The decor is of Italian grape vines and rustic wood."

"I ordered Lasagne. The lasagna had little taste and the salad was a pitiful bit of salad with 2 slivers of onion and 1 grape tomato. The thousand island dressing was tasty, but little to add missing vegetables flavors to the salad. The salad should have carrots, but the waitress said they were out for a while. Instead of carrots, they gave nothing to go, except to say that the additions were 50 cents per piece. I spoke to the manager (after I paid) without resolution except We do what Theo tells us. If Theo says, put a tomato, that's what we do. The pizza crust also had no taste. I'm not back to this facility."
