"First off, it was a first date. The food and atmosphere was nice but casual. Classy but informal. The red dragon roll is amazing and she had the tuna and we had a cute date trying each other's food. As a matter of fact we're still dating and I give this place some credit."

"We discovered Bonsai when it was Sunshine’s in downtown Kannapolis. Sunshine said her main ingredient was “love” and that she blessed every dish. It was obvious then and that main ingredient is served to this day. This restaurant is a family favorite. Food is amazing. Sunshine used to prepare our food for us based on what we needed and she was never wrong. She would say, I bring you something special. And it always was. Just my opinion but anything less than a 5 star review I just do not understand. I guess we all have off days? Prices are very affordable. Skip the China Buffet up the street and drive towards the fire station. Sunshine’s is behind it. They would have more stars if I could give them. I love that they moved bc I can walk there from my house."

"We ate dinner there and the food was delicious, the service was wonderful. My husband got the Japanese Grill with chicken and I got the Lomein noodles with chicken and both were excellent. The menu is very varied between Thai, Sushi, and Japanese food. This is award winning food as it was the winner of the People's Choice Restaurant in 2016. Next visit I'm going to try the Spring rolls and Sesame chicken. It's a little hard to find, but just a block off North Ridge Avenue close to the water tower."

"Happened to be in the area with a different appointment, and landed here! Great service at the front desk, plenty of seating without being right next to anyone, and fantastic food! My wife had the vegetables, and I had chicken teriyaki, and both were delicious. I would recommend to anyone on the north side of concord, 97% rating from a health standpoint, and that is not easy to achieve."

"The food is okay, nothing special. I would go back to try something different for sure just to give this place another chance. I had the chicken pineapple fried rice and it was ok. The fried rice was delicious but they put canned pineapple tidbits in the rice instead of FRESH pineapple chunks. I was a little disappointed. I also ordered the orange dragon roll, I would not recommend their sushi at all. The taste wasn't fresh and the spicy Mayo was some mayonnaise they made on their on, definitely not the standard spicy Mayo you find on sushi. It actually tasted like mayonnaise with no spice. The customer service was great though very nice people. I would definitely prefer if they didn't put my straw in my drink for me though. That was a little off putting. Still worth a try. Like I said I will be going back to try a different dish. Maybe their hibachi fried rice with vegetables since the rice was so good."

"This is my favorite Chinese restaurant, I travel 20 miles from where I live just to eat here. It's always good and welcoming. If your down to spend less than forty dollars on two people I highly recommend this as a lovely date spot. Don't forget to try their Saki."
