"Superb value, beautiful ambience and surprisingly large portions of good value food. I had the liver to start with which was good but the lamb wellington for my main course was sublime. The 16.50 per person was so good that I have made another reservation next week. A hidden gem!"

"A beautiful pastry shop and cafe restaurant on the portabello street notting hill . processing of pastries and bread and sandwiches . very pleasant dunes in the inner as well as . high level, but not too expensive. had the tropezian cake that was great seeing photo . has custard inside . also madeleines were great."

"My wife and I tried this restaurant for the first time a few days ago: we happened to be in Albemarle Street at 8.30 pm and we weren 't willing to walk towards Piccadilly Circus, so we decided to try the Europa. The restaurant wasn 't very crowded at that time; the staff were friendly and attentive. The tables were somewhat formal proper napkins and table cloth, appropriate cutlery for what we ordered. The menu has a wide range of choices. We both had tortelloni with butter and sage for starters; given the price, we expected just a handful, instead it was a substantial starter, a primo piatto in true Italian style rather than just an appetizer. For main course we had grilled sea bass and lamb steak, both with vegetables and very nice sliced roast potatoes. Everything was cooked very well and the service was perfect. For drinks, we had a glass of wine and a beer. We then had one cassata ice cream to share, and two coffees. The bill was very good value: just over 60 pounds, service charge included. We will certainly go back: there are (few) good restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but all are more expensive."

"German deli has many foods from Germany that are otherwise difficult to find in Britain and recently managed to deliver just in time for the weekend for a fantastic grill. I've been an expert for a long time and can't recommend it enough. highly recommended!"
