"We were really disappointed with how long we had to wait for our food here. The meal didn’t flow at all. There were a lot of tables all just waiting. The food was equally disappointing. We ordered a chicken tikka dhansak. It came with normal chicken not a big problem but the sauce was very bland no heat and no lentils both of which were expected from a Dhansak having had this in many many other Indian restaurants. The naan breads were nice at least and we enjoyed them. Not the cheapest and certainly not the best quality. We shan’t be rushing back."

"The Greek is an outstanding place to visit. The food is exceptional and the specials mean that there is often something different to try every time you visit. They use the freshest ingredients in their dishes and this means that the food is always very tasty. There is a good selection of wine and other drinks to cater for all tastes. This visit was with my partner but I have previously visited with vegan friends and fussy family members, including those with allergies. The staff have always gone out of their way to ensure that needs are met and everyone has a great meal. You couldn’t ask for much more good food, excellent staff and fantastic value."

"Was seated in a Booth as was only 4 off us but I did like that it looked well equipped to have bigger groups in with some of the table sizes. Atmosphere was nice and calm and the lighting was just right. Had a pickle tray and popadoms while we looked over the menu. Nice selection of drink to choose from also. Food arrived in good time and was delicious. Good size portions too. Definitely could have shared a rice and naan with my wife. They also offer a family naan which come to the table hanging from a skewer like thing. Definitely would have that if I was there with just my family. Will definitely be returning when next In the area."

"We called in for lunch on a Sunday and found the place peaceful just as we like it. No screaming kids or loud music. We were served by a very pleasant young lady who was generally attentive but spent much time engrossed in whatever was on her laptop computer. We did not find the ante pasta attractive so gave it a miss. The main course menu was excellent but the dessert menu rather limited. The quality of the food was excellent in every way and we did not wait long for it to arrive. My only criticism would be the prices which were a little over the top for what we received. Two mains, two desserts and two bottles of water were over £50 an expensive lunch. We felt that there are other restaurants in the city that offer the same quality of food but less expensive."

"We came here for a meal Saturday 11th dec 21. Super friendly staff . Fabulous food . Very lovely atmosphere felt like home . But unfortunately we had another visit Tuesday 1st march on a week night for my sisters birthday and sadly didn't get the same service. The one and only member of staff that seemed to be there didn't didn't even acknowledge we'd even walked in let alone ask if wed got a table. fair enough he was possibly short staffed, a nice hello be with you in a moment wouldn't of gone a miss. I walked over to say hi we've got a table under the name of lisa. Only to be looked at no reply . Hugh. Did the waiter speak any English I wandered . after what seemed like forever stood at the door, the waiter walked across to a table still no eye contact and pulled two tables apart . because he'd never asked I'd not been given the chance to say was for four people. Birthday girl was stuck in traffic . When I said sorry there is 4 of us he proceeded to put tables back together still no i contact . and walked off, after 10mins sat waiting he brought 2 menus My sister birthday girl then showed up and we sat looking at 2 menus between all four of us . 20mins later still no drinks or even asked if we wanted any . again if hed just said I'm sorry I'm extremely busy il be with you a.s.a.p we would of thought differently I walked across to the bar asking for more menus and asked if maybe we should order from the bar . He said il be across. Looking stressed. We all felt a little bit annoyed by his attitude an very stale manor did he think he was working in a mortuary? It rather Seemed like it . it sort of spoilt the night , my sister only booked there because of the lovely staff from December on my birthday so disappointed to say the least . I will add food was fabulous so compliments to the chef .the only reason for 4 stars."

"Walked into this restaurant with recommendations from family and friends local to the area of Hull. Me and my family where visiting for a few days. We were seated and given menus and shortly our drinks order was taken. There's a huge selection on offer and we All found it hard to choose due to them all sounding lush. The 4 of us settled on halloumi, prk ribs, chicken wings, patatas Aloili, squid rings, king prawns and creamy Stilton mushrooms. They came out in good time and all 4 if us agreed it was all delicious. We asked for a basket of bread after to mop up all the lovely dips and sauces they came with. Also the 2 cocktails for £12 was a steal. We will most definitely be visiting again when we are in Hull again!!! P.s the staff were brilliant too"
