"Als je gezond en goedkoop wilt eten, loop dan eens over de prachtige campus in Kleve naar de mensa (aan de linkerkant van het Spoykanaal, immer grade aus). De mensa is, de naam zegt het al, de mensa van de hoge school Rhein-Waal. Je mag hier als bezoeker aanschuiven en een plaatsje zoeken tussen de studenten. Voor een eenmalig bezoek kun je contant bij de kassa betalen, maar rekenen ze er 0,50€ bij, je kunt ook een bezoekerskaart kopen voor 5,-€ pfand en daar een tegoed op storten, dit lijkt me alleen handig als je vaker komt eten. Er is elke dag een ander menu, altijd iets vegetarisch en een zeer uitgebreide saladebar, gerechten al vanaf 1,80€.Letop, de mensa is de hele dag geopend, maar voor warme gerechten alleen van 11:30 tot 14:30 en tijdens de semester ferien gesloten."

"The aura of German efficiency having evaporated with the failure of our taxi to arrive, we drove ourselves to this Greek restaurant and eventually found somewhere to park. Lively and buzzing with friendly, efficient staff we were given a complimentary glass of ouzo which we...enjoyed while doing battle with a Greek menu in German. We started with a generous portion of dolmades. Madame then opted for Moussaka which arrived as a huge portion, while I went for deliciously tasty strips of lamb fillet, cooked quite rare and served with a vast pile of sauté potatoes. No chance of going hungry here. A bowl of salad accompanied both of our main courses. I managed to find a corner for a dessert of baklava and coffees were offered with more glasses of ouzo. Beer seemed to be the most suitable drink but there were wines, including Greek, listed. Having enjoyed our meals we elected to pay a return visit the next evening, but to choose a selection of starters to share, tapas style, which we felt would be lighter. This proved to be a winning formula and we enjoyed plates of grilled sardines, grilled aubergines, grilled sweet peppers, calamari and garlic bread. We also shared a dessert of creamy Greek yoghurt, honey and walnuts. Once again the meal was ‘topped and tailed’ with complimentary ouzos. Including beers this came to a very reasonable 55 euros including tip."

"Unfortunately, on my vegetarian, a piece of chicken was up. for vegetarian this is unfortunately a no-go. portioning are okay, not huge. it was otherwise delicious. delivery very on time!"

"Based on the reviews here on TA we decided to go check this place out. The food did not disappoint although the price/quality was not as super as other reviews here made us think. Salad from the salad bar was supposed to be included but...as my wife (8 months pregnant) went a second time to have a little bit more, we later found out this was charged as an extra salad which we definitely did not expect after ordering the most expensive Filet steaks on the menu. This was for us quite a big disappointment that made us leave with a nasty aftertaste after a nice evening and shows a very short minded business approach of the owners. Especially of her condition and the fact that a tomato and some lettuce are not the biggest investments you can do in a customer relationship. Having just moved to Kleve and thus trying places out, trying to find a few regular restaurants to go and also take friends and family too, this one will not be among them. Its not about the 4 Euro extra on a night out but more the way u seem valued as a (new) customer. Anyway: We decided to keep the honor to ourselves and forget it, tip appropriately and share our experience here. Maybe a next time they will handle it differently."
