"Wir waren an einem sonnigen Sonntag auf der Kropsburg. Das Lokal war gut besucht, aber das ist an einem solchen Tag normal. Wir stellten uns auf eine Wartezeit ein. Bedienungen gab es aus unserer Sicht ausreichend. Sie wirkten auch nicht übermäßig im Stress. Oft lief eine Bedienung auch nur mit einem einzelnen Getränk zu den Tischen. Wir konnten erst nach mehrfachem Ansprechen nach 15 Minuten bestellen. Nach weiteren 15 Minuten verließen bereits unsere Tischnachbarn genervt ohne Getränk den Biergarten. Mein Mann fragte sogar an der Theke, ob er die Getränke selbst nach draußen bringen könne. Man meinte, wir sollen uns gedulden, alles ginge nach der Reihe. Als nach weiteren 10 Minuten der Nachbartisch seine Getränke bekam, obwohl die Gäste dort nach uns kamen, beschwerten wir uns. Die (männliche) Bedienung sagt uns in unangemessenem Ton, wir hätten ja die Wahl und könnten aufstehen und gehen. Noch nie wurden wir derart unfreundlich in der Pfalz behandelt. In St. Martin fanden wir dann aber zwei weitere Location, wo wir zügig und freundlich bedient wurde. Geht doch! Auch an einem sonnigen Sonntag in der Pfalz!"

"Unfortunately we had a very bad experience here. The “Rollbraten” (pork roast) was about fat, it was inedible. After mentioning this to the waiter, he did nothing about it, not even offer a discount. Instead he insisted on the bill amount to be fully...settled in cash. They do not accept cards, which is rather unusual and a bit strange, apart from being inconvenient. It does not appear to be a restaurant to be run by locals (I grew up in the area), it is owned by a chain, and it completely lacks charm. Might also explain why it was empty. The location would have potential, but unfortunately it’s run by the wrong people. There‘s lots of other restaurants around. I strongly recommend to go somewhere else for a meal."

"We had jäger and gypsy carvings with salad, all carvings were equally thick and also about the same size and the taste was moderate. the salat was a small look at the light (although only leaf salad), because it lost a little field salad and rucola and the dressing was actually ok. the rye was taste-neutral and provided with boiled (or refrozen) paprika strips. No recommendation from me, you can eat well elsewhere."

"I have been with friends at the schnitzeltag in the old maikammer. always delicious and beautifully dressed, with love for detail. super quality and a great price/performance ratio. anthony is a great host and with its team offers a very good service. we will come back regularly as before. Keep going!"
