"Great place for a late afternoon picnic or cheese and wine. Take your guitar and have a sing a long but no electronic music allowed. A R20 per person donation is requested to support the facilities. Take mosquito repellant if you're staying after sunset and of course take a pair of binoculars. Passenger jets fly in low overhead if the wind is from the east, a thrill especially for toddlers. The viewing site adjoins a circular park with barbecue opportunity, clean toilets, swings, slides, and lots of open grass. Plenty of parking."

"The Chocolate Garden is such a beautiful spot to spend the day at. The staff were so lovely and friendly, which always makes my experience at places feel so much better. Our waiter was also nice, he took our order which didn't take very long to arrive. Our food looked so lovely and tasted good too. He warmed our drinks up for us because it had gotten cold and was very helpful. My kids absolutely loved and enjoyed the play area and the animals. They were having so much fun and were entertained, which allowed my hubby and I to have some uninterrupted time together. My kids did not want to leave, so I will definitely take them back again. It was well worth it and a lovely experience. I would highly recommend visiting them. There is also accommodation and venue hire available."
