"Saw this restaurant from the main road in passing. So I did a quick internet search and called to make a booking for dinner. My partner and I were greeted by friendly staff who seated us next to the window where we had a lovely view of the sea and the mountains. The restaurant itself was surprisingly modern as it looks a bit tired from the outside. It was clean, comfortable and looks nice inside. It would suit families and couples looking for a romantic meal i would say. We hadn't had tapas for a while and asked the waitress for their advice. She happily explained what she recommended and the fact we could always order more if we were still hungry. We followed her advice and had 6 dishes between us. We also had bread and olives. The food was delicious and the 6 dishes was more than enough. We still made room for dessert of course! We had a lovely time and enjoyed our experience at O Marafado. If we return to Portugal next year we definately intend to visit again. All in all I would recommend this restaurant. Get a taxi so you don't have to flip a coin for the designated driver!"

"We stumbled on mangi and waited for a reservation in another restaurant. we loved it so much that we skipped our reservation because we were too busy eating tapas, enjoying drinks and making nice talks with mirco. we highly recommend mangi when they eat...Lagos! sweet atmosphere and delicious food!"

"We stayed at Villa Doris Apartments in Praia da Dona Ana and instead of going back to the city, we decided to stay “local” for dinner. Had a few options nearby and chose the Onda Norte on TripAdvisor reviews really. I'm glad we did it when the food was really great! We had the Portuguese steak and the Ribs and both meals were excellent. The staff was really friendly, we were offered a free port to finish the night and total bill was about 40 € that our beer and Sangria with dinner. Great value we think as we have probably paid almost €80 for similar, though at more chic locations. If you are staying close to Dona Ana or even in the city, we recommend the Onda Norte for a delicious, price-quality meal."
