"My husband and I were outside looking at the menu when a couple walked by and told us we had to go in it 's sooo good . They were sooo right! It was Christmas Eve around 6:30 p.m., we didn 't have a reservation but were greeted immediately by a gentleman with an authentic Italian accent and brought to a table. Without my asking the host moved the only available table in sight over towards the fire, which was wonderful. The server was quick, knowledgable, and friendly. We had water and bread with oil, etc. within two minutes and a bottle of wine moments later. My eggplant parmesan and my husband 's seafood medley were both delicious. The crème brûlée was excellent and the tiramisu was the best I 've ever tasted. If you 're in Lake Placid, this is a must-go. I wish it was closer to home because we would be regulars!"

"Delicious NY style pizzas. Pepperoni was good, buffalo chicken was excellent. White pizza with ricotta was top notch. Drinks in bottle or can, pizza available by the slice. Indoor and outdoor seating. Parking sparse."

"I visited Mr. Mike’s twice. This was after Thanksgiving but before the area’s winter rush. The restaurant was completely empty. I ordered my food to go (pizza and salad). The food was good. No complaints. The prices were fair. Just something of note for anyone visiting Lake Placid, some of the businesses prefer cash and will give a discount for using cash or charge the swipe fee. Mr. Mike’s charges $1.00 for using cards. They don’t say upfront."
