"My husband and I were outside looking at the menu when a couple walked by and told us we had to go in it 's sooo good . They were sooo right! It was Christmas Eve around 6:30 p.m., we didn 't have a reservation but were greeted immediately by a gentleman with an authentic Italian accent and brought to a table. Without my asking the host moved the only available table in sight over towards the fire, which was wonderful. The server was quick, knowledgable, and friendly. We had water and bread with oil, etc. within two minutes and a bottle of wine moments later. My eggplant parmesan and my husband 's seafood medley were both delicious. The crème brûlée was excellent and the tiramisu was the best I 've ever tasted. If you 're in Lake Placid, this is a must-go. I wish it was closer to home because we would be regulars!"

"Poor service for cost, limited menu and food was not at the quality they charged. $70 medium well steak was bleeding in center and $18 Cesar had barely any dressing on it. Few people in restaurant yet poor service"

"C26 Sesame Chicken is awful, has a funky taste, extremely over cooked. I added lomein for an upcharge, Im not even sure how anyone can eat the lomein, the smell alone is awful, but I thought maybe its just a seasoning Im not familiar with, it made me gag. It taste like what I would imagine a dirty floor would taste like. The #5 Fried Dumpling appetizer, was ok, edible, if u didnt use the sauce it came with, again that tasted awful, rancid almost. Gosh I feel bad for locals who want Chinese, and this is their only option. Also the application wouldnt let me place an order without purchasing a water, which I thought was odd, but I figured oh well, Ill drink the water later since Im staying in a hotel anyways and have the coke I did want, with my dinner."

"So. good wein and service, absolutely! the food was respectable, but not calculated for prices. if it were carne mare or l’artusi in nyc, the dollars would drop. subtitle cocktails $20? bland, lifeless pasta primavera for $33.? diver scallops were good, but at quite a price. the calculated prices do not correspond to the quality of the dishes and I now understand everything that costs more. only my 2 cents."

"Terrible service. We chose this place because we saw the 4.4 rating on Google Maps. We walked out over half an hour later having had 2 sips of beer and no food. Why? From what we could tell, the place was extremely understaffed and the staff was very inexperienced. When we walked in there were only two tables inside. Both appeared to have been there for a while. A lone tall server (let’s call him Sven because he had a Nordic accent) took our drinks and food orders. He was friendly enough and explained that there was a large party with a reservation coming. We ordered a drink and 3 main dishes in one go, and felt lucky that we got our orders in before the party had arrived. A few minutes later the large party of 10 12 people showed up. Another party of 5 walked inside shortly there after. Another server appeared and started to tend to the large party. We waited for another 10 15 minutes and did not get anything no utensils, plates or drinks. Not even water. I raised my hand and signaled to Sven. He came over and I reminded him of our drinks. He apologized and headed to the bar and gave me a thumbs up as he appeared to be drafting a beer. He came over with the beer and I reminded him that my two companions had requested water. He went back and got the water. We became concerned that he forgot to put in our order. A few minutes later our fear was confirmed when he came by and asked us if we were ok with waiting another 40 minutes for our food. He explained that the large party had ordered food with their reservation. We shook our head and he quickly turned and went back toward the kitchen. A few minutes later our hopes of getting our food expedited were dashed when Sven showed up with our bill with only one drink. He explained that he took our food off the bill. He did so without explaining in advance that our options were either wait or cancel the order.Oh well. It was a few minutes past 8 and most of the places in town close around 9:30. We had to abandon our drinks to look for an alternative."
