"This was my first and last time coming here. This place is very racist towards African American people. My friend and I went there for dinner. We ordered an appetizer, drinks and main course. The drink was all ice. We received out appetizer, which was decent. Then we waited 45 minutes for our entree. A Spanish couple who came after us, received their food within 10 minutes of sitting down. Then when I asked the waitress where's our food. She said the ticket machine was down ams they are now making our food. We said we'll take it to go. They had an attitude. Gave us 4 shrimps for a whole meal. Which was very subpar. Wasted money and time going to this place. EXPENSIVE FOR NO REASON. How can you treat people who lives in the community like this. Never again!!!!!!!"

"I’ve been to this place a few times. I like to do that to be certain I like what they offer, and to check on how consistent the product they provide is. This place seems to be hit or miss, but, for the most part, it’s pretty good. One thing is for sure – it’s a good value. We ordered the Enchilada Plate, and ended up with big plates consisting of three enchiladas, a good helping beans, and a pile of rice. It’s enough food for a growing boy. Heck, two people could probably split a plate, and do alright. This is a traditional, “Lard and Pork” Mexican restaurant, but they do get kudos for having a “whole bean” option for those who don’t really like lard. Just don’t assume that those whole beans are entirely vegetarian. I suspect they may have been cooked with a bone, or some other type of animal-based seasoning. I am also not too certain that their rice is completely devoid of animal products, either. Sometimes in these places, you have to use your own discretion, because you can’t always trust the opinions of people who eat meat without consideration of where it came to actually understand what qualifies as vegetarian, (we once had a woman at a different restaurant suggest we order the “steak” if we wanted something without lard or pork). It’s a safe bet to say that if you like Colorado/Southwest style Mexican food, and you aren’t too big on fancy, you will like this place. It’s not the cutest place I’ve ever dined at, but the food was pretty good, the people were very pleasant, and I sure did not leave with either an empty stomach, or an empty wallet. Oh, and, by the way, if you have an Entertainment Book, there’s a coupon in there for bogo on entrees that is worth up to $10 off."
