"It is not a Maggiano, but Barone’s is still family owned and offers house style Italian cuisine in an open dining room. If you have a group party, ask for the private dining room in the back. I especially enjoy the antipasta salad with the beans on the side. You do not offer pizza in Chicago (Deep Table), you want to go to BJ for this type. Barones makes a great baron (filled pizza), with a variety of fresh meat and vegetables, peppers, olives, onions, etc. I also enjoyed the Veal Parmesan, Manacotti and Spagetti with meatballs. Make sure to order the garlic cheese bread with your salad."
