"We had heard about cafe vic-ryn and their excellent food so as soon as it reopened we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed the quality of the food and the service was second to none. We had the special of the...day which was seafood chowder. It was excellent, plenty of fish and deliciously creamy and the free top ups of coffee were especially welcome. We intend to visit again and try another dish on their extensive menu. Compliments to the chef and the staff."

"One of the best restaurants in Lisburn. Went for one of the specials which still used duck but prepared differently to the regular menu. Sounded better than it actually was. Disappointed reading about the potatoes only to be served roast potatoes with green chilli on top. I would go back but I would just stick to the basic menu. Need to make a booking to avoid disappointment as it's very popular."

"Ordered dinner for my family which costs £15.10. Yet again my order was not 100% right. 1 of my orders was sausage supper with gravy peas and onions. When i got it home there was no peas. I am writing this as a matter of principle. As an established business small mistakes soon mount up. This isnt my 1st review and id regularly go in for food but now id be put off not spending money there."

"As a family we would have gone here in the past as our go to restaurant. However we have all agreed that the food is getting worse. Waitress took my last meal off the bill it was so bad. "Only had a pint in here after an issue with the train to Portadown asked for a taxi number and the bar man booked a taxi and told us when it arrived good pint good service friendly staff nice bar ."

"Tonight my grandson took his mother and father and I for a thank you dinner in this beautiful restaurant. it was our first time at this place. we often went to the old location in the antrim street. the personal is really friendly, special mention anton, happy and helpful, told them I would post a bit, always keep my word! the food was well presented and delicious. we'll be back. Thank you to everyone and everyone you are."

"I went in for lunch and I ordered a cheesy chip and the lady serving me repeated after me Gravy chip? and I replied back No cheesy chip please . I was sat down waiting for a while when I got the food it was a gravy chip. I had clearly stated I wanted a cheesy chip twice. I had no time to change my order as I had to be somewhere by a certain time. I was not happy with the service, I had been in once before and everything was fine except the long wait which is expected at lunch time. I will not be returning anytime soon."

"We visited Bob Stewart’s with family and everyone enjoyed their time. The food was excellent, could not fault anything. It was so delicious nobody wanted it to end. We had my 18 month grandson with us and they looked after him extremely well, making sure he had everything he needed. Just loved the place and will definitely be back."
